Your details, and what we do with them
We collect only what we need to answer you and look after your pet. We never sell it. You can see it, correct it, delete it or withdraw your consent at any time.

This notice follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the rules made under it. We call them the DPDP Act. It covers this website, the salon and the academy.
Who we are
Pet Pamperer Pet Salon & International Academy, Bungalow No. 149, MHADA, SVP Nagar, Janki Devi School Road, Andheri West, Mumbai 400053. We decide why and how your personal data is used. Under the DPDP Act, that makes us the Data Fiduciary. You are the Data Principal.
What we collect, and why
For each kind of data, here is what we hold and the one purpose we use it for. We use it for nothing else without asking you again.
On this website
Only what you type into an enquiry form:
- Grooming enquiries: your name and phone number, dog or cat, breed, service, preferred day and any note.
- Academy enquiries: your name, phone, email and city, the course, your experience and your start date. You also confirm you are 18 or over.
- Franchise enquiries: your name, phone, email and city. We also ask about your space, budget, background and timing, and for any note. You also confirm you are 18 or over.
- Call backs: your phone number, and your name if you give it.
The purpose is to answer your enquiry. We will not add you to a marketing list without asking separately.
By phone and WhatsApp
Your number, your name and what you tell us about your pet or your plans. The purpose is to reply, to book, and to remind you of an appointment.
In the salon and the academy
Your name and phone number, your pet's details and anything about its health or temperament that affects the groom. For students, your contact details, course, attendance and assessment. The purpose is to groom safely, to contact you, to teach and to certify.
Cameras
Cameras cover the grooming floor. A screen in the waiting room shows the live view, so you can watch your pet being groomed. The purpose is your peace of mind and the safety of pets and people. It also settles any dispute about a groom. Recordings are kept for 15 days.
Photographs and video
We photograph and film our work. We ask before we publish anything that shows you, a student or a member of staff.
Your consent
Where we need your consent, we ask in plain words, before we collect anything. We ask separately for each purpose. Ticking the box is your consent. If you do not tick it, you can still message or call us.
Sometimes you give us your details to get something done, such as asking for a groom. We use them for that and nothing else. The DPDP Act calls this a legitimate use.
We keep a record of when you consented and which version of this notice you saw.
Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time. It is as easy as giving it. Message us on WhatsApp, email info@petpamperer.in or call the number below. To stop analytics, use "Cookie settings" at the foot of any page.
Once you withdraw, we stop using your data for that purpose. We delete it, unless a law requires us to keep it. What we did before you withdrew stays lawful. We may not be able to take that enquiry further.
What the forms do
Our forms save nothing. When you press send, WhatsApp opens with your details already typed in. Nothing reaches us until you send that message, and you can change or delete any of it first.
How long we keep it
We delete personal data once its purpose is served or you withdraw consent. The exception is data a law requires us to keep.
- Enquiries you started but did not send, where the form keeps them: deleted after 30 days.
- Enquiries you sent: deleted after 12 months, unless you become a customer.
- Customer and student records: kept for 3 years after your last visit or course. Bills and accounts are kept as long as tax law requires.
Who can see it
Only named people at Pet Pamperer can read your enquiries. We never sell your data. We share it only with the services below, and with the authorities if a law requires it.
This website stores nothing you type. The form hands your details to WhatsApp, and they reach us only if you send that message. Your messages are kept in the salon's WhatsApp account, which only named people at Pet Pamperer can open. Techyon Digital builds and hosts our website.
Google provides the map and, if you accept, analytics. It may handle data outside India. The DPDP Act allows this, except to countries the Government of India restricts.
Cookies and other services
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics.
The Google reviews on this site are copied from our Google listing, so reading them sends nothing to Google. The site remembers your light or dark theme choice in your browser only. If you arrive from one of our adverts, your browser keeps the advert's tags for that visit. They go with any enquiry, so we know which advert helped. They say nothing about you.
The map on our homepage and contact page is a Google map. It loads from Google when you reach it, so Google learns your IP address and may set cookies. Pressing "Directions in Google Maps" opens Google Maps. Both are under Google's privacy policy. WhatsApp links open WhatsApp, which Meta runs under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- summarise the personal data we hold about you and what we do with it;
- tell you who we have shared it with;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, unless a law requires us to keep it;
- deal with a complaint you have about how we use it;
- name another person to use these rights for you if you die or cannot act for yourself.
Message us on WhatsApp or write to our grievance officer below. We may ask you a question first, to check it is really you. We will reply within 30 days, and never later than 90 days.
Please use our grievance process first. If we do not reply in time, or you are unhappy, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

What we ask of you
Please give us true details. Please do not give someone else's details as your own. Please do not make a false or frivolous complaint.
Children
This website is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Academy applicants confirm they are 18 or over. The DPDP Act requires a parent or guardian's verified consent before we use a child's data. We never track children or show them adverts.
Security and data breaches
The website uses HTTPS throughout, and only named people at Pet Pamperer can read your enquiries.
If a breach puts your data at risk, we will tell you without delay. We will also report it to the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.
Language
This notice is in English. You can ask for it in Hindi, Marathi or any other language in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution. Message us on WhatsApp.
Changes
If this notice changes, we will update it here and change the version at the top.
