Dog nail trimming and ear cleaning in Andheri West

We trim nails, look after paws and clean the outer ear for dogs and cats. Long nails change how a dog stands and walks. Damp or waxy ears can get sore, so we check them every time. Most dogs need their nails done about once a week.

What happens on the table

You can watch from the waiting area, on the screen that shows the grooming tables.

  1. Step 1

    Check

We ask how your pet copes with its feet and ears being touched, then look at both.

  2. Step 2

    Nails

Trimmed a little at a time, clear of the quick, then smoothed so they do not snag.

  3. Step 3

    Paws

Fur between the pads trimmed short. We check the pads for cuts and dry skin.

  4. Step 4

    Ears

The outer ear cleaned gently. Nothing goes down the ear canal.

  5. Step 5

    Finish

We tell you what we noticed. Redness, a smell or discharge in the ear needs a vet.

Asked about nails, paws and ears

How do you groom nervous dogs?

We use positive reinforcement and take breaks, and if they cannot cope we stop and finish on another day.

Can you do my dog's nails with a hygiene trim?

Yes, in the same visit. Nails, paws and ears are a separate short service, so mention both when you book.

How often should my dog's nails be trimmed?

About once a week. If you hear the nails click on the floor, they are due.

What if a nail bleeds while you trim it?

We stop it straight away and tell you. We trim a little at a time to stay clear of the quick, the living part inside the nail.

Can you treat my dog's ear infection?

No, an infection needs a vet. We clean the outer ear only. If an ear is red, smells or has discharge, we show you and suggest a vet visit.
