A full groom is the whole session for a dog or cat. It covers the brush-out, bath, dry, haircut or trim, nails, ears and hygiene areas. We plan it around the breed, the coat, the age and how your pet copes on the table. Book one about once a month, at our salon in SVP Nagar.

What happens on the table

The screen in our waiting area shows the grooming tables live, so you can watch the whole groom.

  1. Step 1

    Check

    We look at the coat and skin first. We ask about health, past grooms and anything that frightens your pet.

  2. Step 2

    Brush-out

    Tangles come out before the bath, because water tightens a tangle into a mat.

  3. Step 3

    Bath and dry

    A shampoo chosen for the coat and skin, rinsed out fully. Then the coat is dried right down to the skin.

  4. Step 4

    Haircut or trim

    Clipping and scissoring to suit the breed, the coat and the length you want.

  5. Step 5

    Finish

    Nails, paws, ears and hygiene areas. Then we show you anything we found on the skin or coat.

Yes. A screen in our waiting area shows the grooming tables live, so you can watch the whole groom. You can also step out and come back.

What should I tell you before the groom?

Tell us about any health condition, allergy, skin problem or medication. Mention past grooms too, especially anything that made your pet anxious, so we can plan around it.

Can you do a specific haircut I want for my dog?

Usually, yes. If a style would be uncomfortable for the coat or skin, we will say so and suggest another.
